Big thanks to my fellow writers

It's not every day that I get my feathers ruffled but after today, I think it got accomplished. As writers, we work hard on story ideas. Granted, we didn't think the character's names up when we do fan fiction, but by God we turn them into what we want them to do.

I got a couple of PMs today from several concerned writers over on FF.net that someone "stole" my story off FF.net then posted it on another website. Abandon is my baby and it was like someone just took a child right out of my arms.

After a short email and an apology email from the other website, the story was removed.

I wanted to thank those lovely ladies of FF.net for helping bring that to my attention. You are much appreciated.

Indention of the Heart

I am in complete and utter shock with the response I've received from "Indention" I brought the subject up to Jenni P over margaritas and excellent Mexican food when she was home last week and I just wrote it to get it out of me. I posted it wondering how everyone would receive it and so far the hits on the story are overwhelming. I woke the next morning after posting to the first chapter to 100 emails either adding me as a favorite author, story or alerts. That to me is almost better than comments.

So thanks a ton to all my readers. You have no idea how great this makes me feel.

Big Surprises Coming

I've gone into collaboration with JennyP to work on a new story. I can't say what it is yet, but let's just say it'll be different than most of the stories I've written or she's written. I cannot wait to see the finished product. We won't be posting the story for a couple of weeks but keep an eye out here for the links to the new story.

Bella’s face expression said it all. She finally put all the pieces together and I knew she was going to be so angry with us when she woke.

Hopefully it wouldn’t be before I got her back to the house.

Edward and I tore through the woods as I carried Bella in my arms. I knew bringing her back there was more than likely the biggest mistake I could make, but I couldn’t leave her now. She needed to know the complete truth before she went to blaming me for the mistakes that Edward made.

He looked horrible. I knew he felt bad and I only hoped he could smooth things over.

Welcome and news about "Reclaimed"

I finally got around to doing the one thing I thought needed to be done for my stories. Shameless self promotion. I decided that if I'm going to make it in the big time for FanFic readers, then a blog might be the best place to start.

As my profile showed on FanFic.net, I've finally decided on the storyline and title for the sequel to "Abandon."


"Reclaimed"

Bella adjusts to the Cullen lifestyle as she tries to focus on gaining her freedom in four months. Jacob begins to fear that this "rags to riches" lifestyle is driving a wedge between the two of them as Edward begins to shower Bella with the things Jacob knows he can't afford. Will this push Bella and Jacob further apart, or will Bella begin to take offense to being "bought"?

"Reclaimed" To start in March 2010.

Just a small taste of the story:

I awoke to a small box sitting on the edge of my bed. The small tag from it simply said, "Bella." It didn't show who it was from but from the handwriting I instantly knew it was Edward. Since day one, he's found a way to sneak in some sort of gift and after three weeks of it, I was beginning to become slightly annoyed.

I opened it to find an engraved book mark. It was set in brass with silver outlines. I'm sure it was real silver and it scared me that maybe that wasn't brass but solid gold.

This was becoming too much and I needed to say something soon before it got completely out of hand.

Jacob would go insane if he found out that Edward was trying his damndest to buy my love.
